Labor Day Awards 2020

Each year at the end of summer, our yacht club, TCYC, has a Labor Day Awards Ceremony. The day is filled with races and in the evening there is the ceremony where the awards are presented. I got first in the junior sailing races for the day and this year I got the Top Gun award and the Season Champion award. It is also an end of summer celebration to mark all the fun we had together.

This year was extra special because it also marked the end of our time with our coach of three years, Solvig Sayre. She was instrumental in me learning how to sail and to become so passionate about being on the water.
