Cold Front Regatta

2020 week 1 - The Cold Front Regatta is a series of regattas that happen through October and December.

The story that you are about to read is about week 1 in the series of regatta. Here is a brief summary of what happened.

I was is Green fleet and we were sailing on Clear Lake (not even clear) and started racing in the first race. I got first and it was a very close race. I was neck and neck with another kid for the whole entire race. Then in race 2, I got second and another kid beat me by about 15 feet. Then in race 3, I got first again and only won by 2 to 5 feet. Then in race 4, I got first and it was under a foot difference. Then in the last race of the day so I knew that if I won then I would win the day of racing but if I lost I would lose the day of racing so I won the last race race five by 30 feet. I had won the day of racing. I was so happy that I had won and that I could move up to Red, White and Blue which is the next fleet. I sail in and derigged my boat and went back to my yacht club.
